Weave, a Lehi, Utah-based customer communication company, closed a $70m series D funding round.
The round was led by new investor Tiger Global Management, with participation from current investors including Catalyst, Bessemer, Crosslink, Pelion and LeadEdge.
The company intends to use the funds to expand and enhance its current product offering, develop its international presence, grow its team, and continue to invest in the development of its employees.
Led by Brandon Rodman, CEO, Weave provides a customer communication platform for service-based businesses to deliver personalized, relevant and timely customer experiences. From customer acquisition to retention, the solution provides communication software and hardware solutions for the entire customer journey.
Weave has over 13,000 customers. The company doubled its revenue in 2018 and has increased its team at its Utah headquarters to approximately 550 employees, up from 300 at the beginning of the year.
