Our Company

Our company was founded with the hope of creating an innovative dental recall system. Like most of society, we saw communication in dental offices trending towards impersonal, technology-based interactions. We resisted the idea that technology has to be impersonal and found a way to automate dental recall tasks for the practice but keep it personal and intimate for the patient. Our solutions have evolved throughout the years to include more than just dental recall that improve the communication between offices and their patients.

We continually invest in technology that will revolutionize the dental industry, but we make an even greater investment in our human capital. Simply put, our warm, friendly, virtual assistants provide a service that technology can never duplicate. Also, we have made significant investments in our office location, software, and processes to ensure our security measures go far beyond HIPAA standards.

The Crown Council

The Crown Council is a prestigious alliance of leading-edge dentists throughout the world who are strongly committed to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer, and serving their communities through charitable work. These recognized leaders in health, wellness, and prevention offer the latest dental procedures in state-of-the-art facilities. WEAVE Communications has been a Resource Member of the Crown Council since 2008. The Crown Council, as their tagline states, truly is the place "where dentistry's best practices unite, and give."

Smiles for Life

The Smiles For Life Foundation is the children’s charity arm of the Crown Council. Discus Dental (makers of ZOOM! teeth whitening and BriteSmiles trays) donates ALL of the whitening supplies, and participating Crown Council dentists donate ALL of their time. Together, they offer professional teeth whitening services at substantially reduced prices (donations) WITH 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GOING TO CHARITY. Since 1998, Smiles for Life has raised over $27 million, benefiting hundreds of children’s charities.

Advisory Committee

Mike Murray

Mike is an advisor and helper to a select group of for-profit and non-profit organizations. For twenty years he was a senior executive in the personal computer industry, most notably at Apple Computer and Microsoft. In 2000, he turned his attention to world poverty issues and co-founded Unitus, an innovative, award-winning organization that serves as a catalyst and industry accelerator throughout the developing world. Separately he and his wife use the resources of their family foundation to support a carefully vetted group of programs and organizations that remove constraints and provide opportunities for good people needing a break in life. Mike has an engineering degree and an MBA, both from Stanford University.

Steve Anderson

Steve is the founder and president of the Total Patient Service Institute, co-founder of The Crown Council, and co-founder of the Smiles for Life program which has raised over $25 million for children's charities worldwide. Over the last twenty years he has spoken at every major dental meeting, conducted hundreds of seminars, worked with thousands of dental practices to increase their productivity, written over one hundred articles for dental industry publications, authored five books, and produced dozens of audio and video learning programs.

Deon Lewis

Deon has spent the better part of 25 years as a marketing and advertising executive. He has served as CMO of a $150M consumer goods company, as Account Director for New York based McCann Erickson/Salt Lake as well as Senior Vice president for New York based Grey World/San Francisco. Deon’s career has encompassed working with packaged goods clients such as Sanderson Farms and franchisor Glass Doctor as well as tech clients such as Oracle, Intel, McAfee and Dell.
